I put a mounting block in so I had something to screw the dishwasher to. I took such pains to get it positioned exactly, but when I drilled the holes I couldn't locate the drill bit precisely, so the thing is a bit farther out of the cabinet than I had hoped. Then I went to install that branched drain pipe, and discovered it is too tall. So I just ran the dishwasher drain hose directly to the existing drain pipe, and bypassed the air gap. It will have to do until I can get the correct one. I may have to have it shipped, and who knows how long it will take.

But I started it up on the test cycle, and it seemed to work.
