When he left on Saturday, the cabinetmaker told me he'd be back to finish up on Monday or Tuesday. I was hopeful for Tuesday but expected Wednesday. He called this morning (Tuesday) to tell us it would be Thursday afternoon. At least he sounded apologetic this time.
We need doors and drawerfronts, kickboards and quarter round, crown molding and a few other odd things. He said he'd help install the microwave.
We haven't been doing much. Cindy moved a lot of dishes and stuff back into the cabinets. I've been cleaning up a little bit. I'm waiting on the air gap to install the dishwasher, and a connector, to finish up the undercabinet lighting. Tomorrow I'm ordering tile and supplies, so I've been doing some research, making sure I know what's up. I've done it before, but it's been a while.
