As hoped, I did that final, light sanding, and then painted. I wanted to put primer on the bare drywall and joint compound, so I found some white paint/primer in the basement. It didn't cover as much as I had hoped, so I went over the rest with the light brown we're putting on the walls. Tomorrow night I'll do the ceiling. After that I'll do the rest of the walls.
Then we get rid of all that plastic sheeting and clean up. It's going to be a pain to clean up all that dust!
I discovered that one of the strips of flooring has popped up. Still haven't heard from the flooring company. They seem to be in no hurry to get their payment. After we get all the dust cleaned up, we'll give them a call and have them come and look at it.
