We went to see the King Crimson concert. We were a little nervous about going to a crowded event in public, but we were vaccinated, so we risked it. And neither of us really wanted to miss the band. I can't think of many bands I'd be willing to risk Covid, but this was one. Awesome show. Mike (user=marswalker) came up from Indiana to see it with us. It was good to see him again.

Monday the lower cabinets were installed in the kitchen. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday they were installing the new flooring. Mike arrived on Tuesday and the concert was that evening. Thursday and Friday nights I kinda put things back together - temporary countertops and the sink were reinstalled.

For the weekend, I took a break from the kitchen. I needed the break, plus I had a lot of yard work to catch up on. Saturday we went to the bar to pick up our photos after the show ended. We went out to eat one night. I had gaming on Sunday. We started our new Star Wars campaign, and it was only the second time we'd gotten together in person (for gaming - some of the other guys see each other a lot) since the start of the pandemic.

The weather was perfect for this holiday weekend - 75° and sunny all weekend. A very pleasant weekend.

He was posting on LJ a couple of years ago, but then he gave up. That's probably around the last time we saw him in person. He lives about three hours away from us.
