I badly needed a day off, so since the weather looked like it was going to be good, I took today off. Cindy and I drove up to the Kettle Moraine and took a little hike.
It was sunny and the temp was in the mid seventies, so a mile or two into it, shady areas like this were welcome.
We're getting old - 3.6 miles should not have been quite that difficult. I think I should have drunk more water along the way. I was pretty beat after we got home.
This scene was odd. It looked misty, and it looks even moreso in this photo, but it was not. I think it was slightly overcast, and the diffuse sun shone on the gray-brown branches of trees and bushes.
