I came home to shovel. It’s not the most fun part of a snowstorm, but it’s necessary, so I don[‘t complain. I immediately decided it was time to fire up the snow blower. I don’t normally bother, but since I had over 10" on most of my lot, this was the time. The fucking thing wouldn’t start. Now this wouldn’t piss me off half as much, but I just had the damn thing running in September. If it weren’t for that, I wouldn’t have even been surprised. I didn’t run it at all last year. But for probably the first time ever, I was prepared, and made sure it started before the snow flew. And now that the snow is flying, it won’t run. >:-(
I’m hurtin’, too. The snow is very light, and I only did the sidewalks, and I’m beat. My back’s hurting a little too.
I guess I’ll take a rest and go to the grocery store, since I forgot last night, and I have nothing to eat but bread and ramen noodles.
When I woke up this morning and remembered that I was out of food, I had planned on walking to the grocery store. I won't because the wind is bad. It bites. I mean, it is a biting wind. It'd be nice to ski too, but again, it is too cold.
See, that's what I hate about winter - the cold. Can't it snow when it is warm out?
