Today I pulled off the baseboard, so they could drill holes in the drywall and force air in. I put the cover back on the sump. Carried up some more garbage. Cindy filled the dumpster with what was in the garage.
The moisture mitigation crew showed up around 2:30 with two dehumidifiers and seven fans. The humidity seems to be around 80%. They didn't drill holes in the drywall. The salesman told me they'd do that, but it wasn't listed in his quote. So I guess he decided it wasn't necessary? Or maybe that piece of equipment was tied up? I'm a little annoyed that I went through the effort of taking off the moulding, tearing up some of it, some of the drywall, and some of the carpet tack-strips, but I guess that will help it dry out too. There was mold behind the moulding in a couple of areas.
The fans aren't quite as noisy as I thought they might be. I wish there were more of them. All but one are in the finished half of the basement. They'll come to take them away on Tuesday.
