the Highland Games

I didn't even really feel like going to the Games this year. And then the weather was bad too. I wouldn't have gone at all, but I had signed up to volunteer. I went down late in the morning after the rain had ended. It was 50° when I left home, but after I got there the sun started trying to come out, and it was quite comfortable. Around 2:00 we started getting light rain off and on. By 3:00 the temp had dropped and there was a bit of a breeze. By 4:00 the rain was steady but light. I left, though, because there were storms on the way. We didn't have rain at home, though.

Funny, most of the people I usually see there weren't there, for some reason. So I guess it's good I didn't go earlier in the morning like I usually do.
