Instagram

I started an Instagram account, just for my photography. I didn't really want to do it, because I don't really need another social media account, but all the cool photographers are doing it. It's promotion. Not like I really need that either, but all the cool photographers are doing it.

Pretty soon I realized my Instagram would be full of nice images every day. But a week into it, I'm now getting friend requests from non-artists. Actual friends whom it would be rude not to friend back. *sigh*

I made a tumblr for my photos and although I saw quite a lot of stuff I liked, it felt like work to put stuff on there and I got very little response. So when they had a smut ban that seemed pointless and cringing, I stopped. Not that I posted any smut.

Can you create another insta for friends? Or choose a wildly different name for a professional account? hmmm Ask some other photographers how they handle that.
