Wednesday morning it was -23°F. I stepped out of my car and decided it wasn't that bad. I got halfway across the parking lot when the wind hit me. It burned! At noon when I went out, the temp was -17°F with a 20 mph wind. I walked less than 100 feet from my car to the door, and it was still painful. The next day the temp was ten degrees warmer and the wind had dropped by 10 mph, and it was no longer painful, just uncomfortable. I went out in the evening to shovel a little bit, and at only -7° but with almost no wind it was fine. I'm just glad I didn't have to stay out very long. Today the temperature was in the upper teens since noon. Not bad.
