I commemorated Memorial Day by contemplating the sacrifices while doing yard work.
I spent most of my waking hours at home working in the yard. And not the fun gardening, either. I cleaned up an area of rock mulch. I worked on it all three days. Cindy helped me cut up some firewood. I'd intended to change the oil and blades on the tractor and mow the lawn, but none of that happened.
We were supposed to have a lot of rain this weekend, but very little actually materialized. Most of it was Sunday morning before I went outside. The weather was great - around 70° and sunny for most of the weekend.
Saturday night we went to a party. Played Apples to Apples and then Cards Against Humanity. Sunday night was gaming. It was a late night, since nobody was working the next day.
