Friday morning I felt like I was coming down with something, but the feeling went away. Saturday, the feeling was there again, but never really went away. I slept late that morning. Cyn woke me up at 20 to ten. I never sleep past nine these days. I haven't been falling asleep easily lately.

In the afternoon I was busy. I split wood and brought it into the garage. That wore me out, probably due to being nearly sick. I also filled the bird feeders and hung a battery operated LED light by the pantry.

We're on a Star Trek kick. We've been going through all the original series, and also watching the occasional Next Gen episode. Last night we watched Star Trek: The Undiscovered Country. One of my favorites. In addition to that, I've been watching a bunch of Next Gen episodes - all the Klingon/Worf episodes. I have six more to go. Worf joined the cast of Deep Space Nine, but I'm not sure if I'll go through those too.

It's nice having two hydraulic log splitters: the big one for oak, and the small electric one for fir. I've been keeping a fire going lately because it's so much cheaper than propane.

Sometimes I miss Star Trek, and go back to look for episodes on Amazon Prime or Netflix. I'm a big fan of DS9 and Voyager.

All last year, I was just splitting big pieces that were split into smaller pieces. Wasn't difficult or time consuming. This year I've got a stack of ash sections that were cut down last year, so they're tough to split. But I don't have a lot of them. Next year, I'm going to get a lot of my neighbor's trees, so I'll rent a splitter for a weekend.

I'm going to watch some more key episodes of TNG, and then get into DS9. That will take me a while.

After finishing TOS, we'll watch all the movies. But that will probably take months.

My son fixed the big splitter for me. It needed a new motor.

I really like any stories about the Borg. Great concept, and TNG and Voyager did a great job with it.

Yeah. "The Best of Both Worlds" was a great episode, and First Contact is my favorite Trek Movie.
