Monday: Demolition
Tuesday: Demolition. It didn't take all day.
Wednesday: rough framing. This consisted of new subfloor, and a few new studs in the wall. I'm sure it took about half the day.
Thursday: rough plumbing.
Friday: I told the electrician what we want.

Tomorrow will be the rough electrical work,
Tuesday will be inspection, then insulation and vapor barrier followed by another inspection. I think the inspector only works tuesdays, which is why I'm not concerned that no work was done on friday.

If it was the same guys doing all the work, they could have easily gotten all that done in about four days instead of six.

Yup. That's the problem when so many different people have to come in for a relatively small job. We were lucky in that the plumber was also the electrician and worked with the demolition guys who were also wall tilers and floorers. The only other guy needed was the one who installed the glass shower door. That took the longest because it had to be custom made for our weird sized bathroom.

The glass should only delay us by a day or two. Apparently the custom glass place can cut it quickly. Either they have the glass in stock, or have ordered it already.

It's the granite that could take up to a couple of weeks.

Which bathroom are you redoing?

Thank goodness you have another bathroom! When we did that to our bathroom we went on vacation as it was the only bathroom.
