Last Wednesday afternoon, I had that telltale tickle in my throat, indicating I would be sick. Thursday, I was definitely sick, and felt miserable by evening. The next day was Christmas, and I felt much better. Good enough to meet people and go to Christmas. The next day I felt worse, but still went to another Christmas. Every day since then I've felt worse than the previous. Today, my right ear hurt. I went to the clinic and got a diagnosis for an ear infection. Got antibiotics and also a prescription for my cough.

But I've felt better as the day has gone by. The pain in my ear has lessened, and I feel stronger, hour by hour. Some of that may be due to the medication. I still definitely have an ear infection, though. There's still a bit of pain, it feels like it's full of something, and it's ringing loudly.

Cindy is a laugh a minute! *the Plague!* Whew.

Except, in Yosemite they have signs at every bathroom to be careful of The Plague. So I took her seriously, and panicked, of course. Silly me.

Anyway, I hope you feel better soon, Kevin. You don't need this on top of the sciatica and everything else.

Loves to both you and Cindy.
