I had meant, all along, to post the photos from our Doors Open outing. I put them in Flickr, with commentary, but never got around to doing it here. So I'll just link to my album, and a few of the pics. There are a few of the church pictures that are really big, so click on them and see if anything happens.

Lots of Byzantine influence in Saint Josaphat's church! I like this series a lot. But then I like church photos.

It dates to the tail end of the golden age of movie palaces. There's another, more spectacular theater of that era in town, the Oriental. I haven't been there in a while, but I need to get pictures.

I love the Oriental. We used to go there when my Dad was single and living on the East Side (many decades ago).
