I went to the Highland Games today. Took Steve. It was very hot. It's been a humid summer. I'm sure 90° doesn't sound very hot to a lot of you, but any time it's hot enough for me to sweat, it's hot. It has been very humid. The outfit didn't help - black t-shirt, heavy kilt, heavy knit socks (kilt hose), Doc Martens. I tried to drink a lot of water, but not sure I succeeded. I am just beat, tonight. Just plain wiped. I feel like I got really drunk today, and am coming down off of it.

Here at home, it stayed in the mid seventies all day. Cool, but damp.

I'd like to spend tomorrow rehydrating, but I'm going back. Some relatives are having a family reunion this weekend, and will be there, so I'm taking Cindy, and we're going to meet them.

John, one of the guys in Whisky Head is a (weekend) blacksmith, and he was doing demonstrations. He made me a bottle opener out of a wrench.

Hummmm... The center of interest in that second photo just doesn't appear to be the horse.

The woman with her back turned has kindof a weird pose. I'm not sure exactly what she's doing. I think that since the bartender is looking right at the horse, there's a line of connection between the two, both visually and compositionally. It would have been a better picture without that woman.

The pretty girl facing forward is your center of interest. Even the horse thinks so! ;)
