busy again

Tonight, I mowed the lawn.

Task that are impending:
continue to water the grass seed every night
edge the lawn
plant more seed
buy more straw and spread it over the seed
change the oil in the tractor
sharpen the blades
clean the garage
dig up thistles
clean up the shed
do something about the mess that is the vegetable garden
chop back some bushes
do something about the voles

That's just the stuff I need to do outside in our yard. I still have another list of things in the house, like paying bills and such.

Tomorrow night, we're going to see a movie.
Thursday night is Jeff's funeral.
Friday night is Rush concert in Chicago.
Saturday evening is Violent Femmes concert in Milwaukee.
Sunday evening is gaming.

Looks like I'll be working in the yard Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

I love outside work. Is it something you enjoy Kevin? I'm a list making person as well. Love the satisfaction of striking items off the list as they are done. I liked your little patch of garden with the bench. Looking forward to seeing some pictures. Nothing feels better than after a day of gardening than to sit back, and enjoy a cold one afterwards. It's such a feeling of satisfaction to see your handiwork completed.

Yeah, I enjoy puttering around in the gardens. This is a lot of work, though, so there's not that much puttering.

While it's never really done, I enjoy watching it take shape.

Your garden list and mine are similar except we have no voles. We've hired a gardener to take care of it all while we're gone for 2 months this summer...such luxury!
