It was sunny and 15° today, so I took the opportunity to grill some bratwurst. This is Wisconsin - we take what we can get.

I also tried a pic of me sitting in a lawn chair, eating the brat. I had to set the beer on the ground to get myself arranged in the chair. So the picture shows me with the beer in one hand, resting on my knee, with snow stuck on the bottom of the bottle.

it looks like my daughter would love WI. She thinks 20F weather calls for shorts!!!

I should get someone to take a picture of the two of us. Me all bundled up with a muffler, gloves, hats, boots and my daughter in a light winter coat without gloves/hats and just regular shoes - she would opt for sandals if it was not against school rules! :P

Actually, I'm more like you. I just ordered a new winter coat. I e-mailed Columbia to ask which was their warmest one, but after a couple of days, it doesn't seem warm enough.

Anyway, that's what makes this picture so funny - I was freezing my butt off!

Heh, I am the same way, I can run around for up to an hour in sub freezing weather bare legged, as long as my feet and torso are warm.

People keep mentioning the shorts, but it wasn't my legs that were cold. It was my upper body. That thin polyester shirt was transparent to the slight breeze.
