I went to the health guy, and he helped me with that hip thing. It's not healed, but it's improved. While there, I forgot to ask him about this ache in my leg. It got worse. It's not now as bad as it has been, but it's still bugging me. I tried doing yoga again last night, but between that and my hip not wanting to bend in a certain direction, I could do very little.
My sleep has been bad. I've been really tired lately. I can't get to sleep without medication, even when I'm exhausted. I've been getting six or seven hours of sleep lately, and it caught up to me this week. Yesterday I was way more tired than usual, even though I got the usual amount of sleep the night before. I went to bed early, and got to sleep in a reasonable amount of time, even though I didn't take anything. I probably got nearly eight hours of sleep, and was back to my usual somewhat-tired self today. I wonder if I can do that again.
My body is exhibiting signs of stress lately. I'm not really sure what the source is, unless it's lack of sleep pushing my crankiness into a death spiral. I think this stress is a big part of my body ailments. Work isn't worse than usual. The political climate is worse than usual. I've been busier than usual - only a couple of free nights a week, lately, including weekends. I think things will open up soon. And I have a couple of weeks off work, over Christmas.

When I have mega-insomnia I know it'`s all about stress even when stressors aren't obvious. So yeah...I understand the frustration.

Date: 2014-12-11 04:45 pm (UTC)From:Arthritis? I take Ibuprofen in regular intervals throughout the day plus two kinds of pain pills. Maybe you could take two Ibuprofen three times a day. If you worry about your stomach you could take Omeperzole (prilosec) once a day too. Taking the Ibuprofen like that instead of waiting for the pain controls upcoming pain and inflammation which results in pain. Worth a try. Pain screws up sleep.
