Saturday, I went to the Milwaukee Highland Games. I volunteered for three hours at the gate, selling entries. That was about half my time there.

Sunday, I worked in the garden for a bit, then had gaming.

Today, I took off work and finished digging the vegetable garden.

Tomorrow, I will plant it.

I also contracted with someone to redo the chimney. It's not in great condition. Bricks are coming apart, mortar is falling out. This costs a couple grand. And their quote was about $1000 cheaper than the other estimate. Then we have to have the roof done. I haven't gotten the quote on that. I kinda hate to pay someone else to do it, since roofing is in my (and Cyn's) skill set, but we just don't have the time.

No serious damage yet. The faces are falling off the decorative bricks, and the mortar is crumbling. But better sooner than too late.
