We finally had some winter weather for a couple of days. It was really nice. We had a few inches of snow, and the trees were covered with it - it was really beautiful. Yesterday the temperature was in the upper twenties, and it was calm. Perfect winter weather, if you ask me.
Today, it got up to 62°. A little weird, but I'm not going to complain. It felt like May. I was able to spend a few minutes out in it, this afternoon. Cindy and I went for a walk in town, tonight. It was still in the upper fifties, but that's a bit cool, for spending time out in it. And partway through our walk, the wind kicked up. By 10:00, the wind was really roaring. Okay, gusting to 30 mph, that's not that bad, but it sure is noisy.

Date: 2012-03-07 04:43 pm (UTC)From:I would've had a tough time on your walk when the wind kicked up. If it's below 60 and windy, my ears react as if it's below freezing. The same thing happens to my siblings, but not to my parents. My mom thinks maybe our reactions are a result of childhood frostbite. Whatever the cause, I hate my weather-wimpy ears.
