I'm not sure this will mean much to most of you, so it's more for my own notes.
Mike's at the bar, looking over, trying to decide on a Scotch to sample. He spies an interestingly shaped bottle. "I want that one. No, to the left. Behind the register monitor. That one!" Glenburgie, 26-year cask strength. "Harold, check this out."
"I haven't had that one."
Curt, the owner, says, "You've had that one."
"No I haven't."
"I wouldn't have opened it if you weren't here." He pours it for him.
He drinks it, and goes weak in the knees, or melts, as one onlooker described it.
"Okay, where do you rank it?"
"Hmm... fifteen." [out of over 800] He points at his list, looks down and sees this very whisky at that spot.
