Date: 2001-05-30 01:33 pm (UTC)From:My lastest favorite is to salt up a glass and fill it with ice. Then I fill it up to a hair over 1/3 full with Cuervo Gold. Then I take some Pepe Lopez triple sec and pour that in until the glass is 1/2 full. I fill the rest of the glass till it's almost full with Cuervo bottled margarita mix and then splash a little bit of roses lime juice on top of that. Sweet/Sour will work intead of the Margarita mix but I think you need to use a little bit more Roses Lime juice if you do that.

I think triple sec works just fine.
