I was supposed to be going out to the Union House with my dad tomorrow night, for some Scotch. It turns out the Archbishop of Canterbury will be there, and the place will be kinda crazy, so we're postponing until Thursday.

EDIT: Turns out it was the former Archbishop of Canterbury, speaking at a conference nearby. And he didn't make it to the restaurant, only the rest of his party.

You're gonna let the Archbishop of Canterbury push you around? Just walk right in there, shove up next to him at the bar and say, "Hey, Arch, love your vestments. Can I buy you a shot?" You'll be pals for life.

And are you sure it's the real Archbishop of Canterbury? According to his website (www.archbishopofcanterbury.org ... honest), he's going to be in Rome on Thursday. Would he be out getting plastered the night before? Before you buy him a shot, make sure it's really him. Ask for some ID. There are a lot of people out there posing as the Archbishop of Canterbury, just to get free drinks.

I figured it out. It's the former Archbishop of Canterbury (1991-2002).
