Not much going on in the last couple of weeks.
I already mentioned the family reunion in eastern Indiana two weeks ago.
Last wednesday, we had a departmental dinner for the outgoing co-ops, at an expensive seafood place, where I stuffed myself.
Thursday, Cyn and I had dinner at my mom's with my sister and kids, and my aunt Barb, who was visiting from Phoenix.
The next day, we went to northwestern Indiana for a gathering at vocalista's home. We made much sangria on friday evening, then drank it on saturday. There were a couple dozen people there, about half of them LJers. I think we covered five states and one other country.
Monday, a friend came up to play some Magic. We drank a bit of Scotch too.
Wednesday, vocalista and marswalker came to visit, and we had roadskoller and emschin over too, so emschin could meet marswalker.
After the family went home, the four of us went to down to Milwaukee and The Maharaja to meet bagelgirl and her husband John for dinner. After that, the four of us walked the riverwalk and ended up at John Hawk's for a drink outside.
Tonight, my mom stopped by, and offered to drop us off someplace, so we could walk home. I gained a good five pounds since the reunion, so a good brisk walk was needed. I think we did two miles.
I forget what's coming up this weekend, but it may involve visiting with sweetinsanity and her husband Greg, who are in town for a wedding.
