Saturday, I went to join our monthly Flickr photowalk. The weather was horrible. It started snowing shortly after I arrived at the meetup place. And it was windy. It wasn't really conducive to good photos, but as you can see below, I got a decent one of the lake. Another guy made some really good ones, so I guess it comes down to your eye.
That evening I went to our Scotch tasting at Mike's. We were standing in his open garage, where it was freezing damn cold, while they were smoking cigars. Mike finally said, "this is stupid. Let's put these out and go back inside." (We had Auchroisk 10yr Duncan Taylor, Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban, Balvenie Single Barrel (15) and Peat Cask (17) and Bowmore Darkest. Also had a taste of Glenfiddich 21yr.)
Sunday was okay, but chilly. Went out to Waukesha for our World of Darkness (Hunters) game.
Yesterday, there was a little snow on the ground in the morning.
Today, there was a lot of snow on the ground in the morning. It started up in earnest after I got to work. There ended up being a couple of inches, but between the rain, snow and ice, it was mostly slush on the ground. I had planned on going out tonight, but changed my mind since it was so awful. After the ice stopped clicking on the windows, I decided I could probably deal with it, so I went out for a haircut, and stopped at a couple of hardware stores. Did I mention the wind?
Yuck. The worst weather possible, short of tornadoes.
