brilliant

I saw a rainbow on the way down here to Cindy's it lasted a good twenty minutes. It was the full arch, and double for a while.

I had forgotten how brilliant the colors are, especially the green. When I first saw it, there was blue sky behind one end. It was one of those scenes that photographers dream of. I loved the sunlit trees with the rainbow glowing through them.

I saw one woman who was pulled over to the side of the road, watching it. I wonder how many other people saw it.

When I was a kid, I'd run to the back of the house to look for rainbows, whenever the sun came out during a shower. I don't see them as much nowdays. :-(
