I think it's interesting looking. Certainly less ugly than some (I'm looking at you, CNA building!).

One of the city's more unusual skyscrapers is home to some of the region's worst criminals. The Metropolitan Correctional Center has some very interesting attributes, and a form that borne of its function. It's footprint is a triangle, which means an officer can stand in mid-floor (never in a corner) and see most of what goes on because of the compact shape. However, it's the windows that receive the most attention. The small irregularly laid out slits are the reason the building's design is sometimes compared to a computer punch card. But those windows are designed to be too small to squeeze through, and laid out in a pattern that is unpredictable to people on the inside.

I was going to ask about that building, and then saw your comment. It DOES look like an old computer punch-card (for those of us who remember them.

Where is that located? How long has it been there? I'm going to have to see if I can find info on Wikipedia.
