Now, who was just posting about pretty, fashionable girls with red lipstick? ;-)

This was the August 1949 issue of Coronet, and Reader's Digest sort of publication. The ads seem to be slanted towards women, and the articles are kinda light and mostly informational, with dose of humor. The article referenced on the cover, isn't really anything like what the image implies. It seems to be all tips on not harassing a girl about not finding a man. Leave her alone, and she'll find one in due time.

You have that magazine? That definitely has value!

The artwork is great. It almost looks like a Vargas print. Those are worth LOTS.

The article reflects the time period and that makes it even more valuable.

The magazine is in pretty good shape for something that's been kicking around people's basements for sixty years, but it's not really in great condition.

The cover artist is Wesley Snyder, and the piece is called "Passing Fancy". Looks like he did a few covers for them.
