What pisses me off more than the belief that all liberal ideas are bad, is the belief that all bad ideas are liberal.

Look on the bright side. In a few years, these morons will be thrown out on their asses.

If we survive that long! (Yes, I know that the Senate and the president will make mincemeat of what they try to do... but still.)

I have a rock in the middle of my stomach. I just turned off the news and will wait for the bad news when it comes in the newspaper.

I feel absolutely ILL over the raging stupidity, not just in the US but around the world. But right now it's mostly over what you've just said as I agree with you 100%.

all bad ideas are liberal.

That's a really good point.

Losing Feingold makes me so sad. I have been warning mda for weeks - I just felt there was no way Democrats would do ok, because of the economy.

I'm in mourning. I've never said that before.

Oh, sorry. I mourned a lot in 2004. That's why I'm not as upset - no matter what, it doesn't hurt as much as it did then.

I couldn't even finish watching. It made me disgusted. I don't care who people vote for, but the reason WHY they vote for certain people irritates me. They interviewed some lady who said "we gave you democrats long enough" 1) You didn't give us anything, we took it 2) two years is not enough 3) when our stuff rolls around and is finally in motion and working, you'll take credit for it

4 semi-related semi-not) separation of church and state, GTFO please and go back to england if you disagree

AHHHHHHHHHHHH

*sigh*

Many of the new senator's ads were outright lies. How do they get away with that? Very easily.

IMO that's disgusting. I know a lot of people believe those.

It doesn't matter what side the idea comes from, it's immediately poo-pooed by the other. It's politics as usual and it sucks.

And since when did welfare become a bad word? "welfare state" "welfare queens" Even the founding fathers supported the idea of "general welfare."

So much for looking out for the welfare of your fellow man. Everything is ME ME ME. They took my jobs, my tax money, wahh wahh wahhhh.

The economy is bad, and people are afraid. They clutch tighter to what they've got. And which party plays on these fears?

I'm with you TOTALLY on this one.

I posted on Facebook that all I can think today is that "A house divided against itself cannot stand." (Lincoln?) I'm worried about our country, I really am.
