summer

Yesterday was cool, but sunny and nice. It was around 70° all day. Cyn changed the bedding over to summer mode, but I cool down overnight, so I still needed the comforter. The house was 70° when I got up. Cyn went outside this morning and discovered it was hot. The thermometer said 80°, so we opened up the house. Two hours later, the house is 80°, and it's near 90° outside.

It's humid, but I'll not complain after nine months of winter.

80º is too hot inside a house (for me).
It's going to be 101ºF here on Tuesday and a balmy 99 tomorrow.

It felt great to finally be warm in the house. No need for slippers on my cold toes, just pad around in my bare feet. Love that.

The same temperature feels different at different times. It feels great on a breezy day, too warm when it's still and humid, too warm when the house is closed up with no air moving, too cold when the a/c is on. At least, it's too cold to sit around in the a/c in shorts and a t-shirt, which is what I like to do.
