I enjoyed the technical aspects of the city. The tallest, biggest, longest, oldest, whatever. Not only the tall buildings, but the cool old bridges. At one time, the Brooklyn Bridge was the tallest structure in the western hemisphere.

Mike took us across the bridge. It was crowded with tourists, but that's okay.

I got to take a romantic late-night walk from the city into Brooklyn via that bridge. Such a great walk. I like bridges (and their histories) and I'm very fond of Brooklyn, in particular.

On 9/11 they talked about many people walking to Brooklyn. The daughter of one of my friends did that to get home. Did they walk along the Brooklyn Bridge?

The Brooklyn Bridge, and the Manhattan Bridge next to it, go to Brooklyn. There are a couple more bridges farther up the East River, but I forget whether they go into Brooklyn or Queens.

It's a grand old bridge, isn't it? A classic! I like these pictures, Kevin.

Beautiful stonework. I love the keystone detail.

Great pictures Kevin! You really have such a great sense for detail and composition. Are you creating table books from each of your themes? They would be nice!

I like all the pictures with cables interacting. But--NOTHING beats the picture of Mike and Cyn laughing together.

I think they were laughing about a message from Mike's friend Aaron.
