If you post really big pictures, or soemthing else that causes my browser window to get sidescroll, I will remove you from my friends page. Then, a week or two later, when something causes me to realize you're missing, I will put you back.

800 is fine. 1200 is a problem (http://i.livejournal.com/1414601.html). I took you out of my default view a week ago, and only remembered you were missing when someone else caused the problem, today.

I'm not trying to tell people they shouldn't post pics like this, but I think they should understand the consequences. In my case, I'll miss some of their entries.

Oh! I just remembered! I have a picture for you of the tomb of Columbus' son.
It's not great but I'll fix it and send it. (It's a dark plaque on a dark background). I'll see what I can do with it.

I'd forgotten there was a setting tied to image size. It's kinda small, but maybe I'll give it a try. Thanks!

I've created a friends list for those who sometimes post really big photos, then I can put them on when they do. APOD used to do this all the time, so I had a filtered friends list without APOD on it.

Then again, I'm kind of mushy and do lots of things to avoid confrontation!
