project time

I decided that since I had the week off, and I didn't want to spend it all in front of the computer, I needed a project. One that I've been wanting to do for a while is adding light to the kitchen. Yesterday I got a book on wiring. And figured out what I wanted the end result to be. Today, I got a call from a friend, so I went out to eat with the guys. Then wasted a little more time watching my christmas presents. Finally, I got the ladder and lights out of the basement, and climbed into the attic to check out the wiring up there, but it was too damn cold. I'll try it again in the daylight tomorrow. Maybe it will be warmer.

But I'm running out of time. On monday, my entire week booked up. I've only got tomorrow afternoon left. I guess I'll put this one off until spring.

It didn't help getting sick, did it? I'm very pleased that my flu shot seems to have worked, and I didn't get sick this christmas.
