It's really strange when you find something in your house, that you don't know where came from, or why it's there. Cyn just found a curtain hanging on a hanger in the front hall closet. We moved in here five years ago. Neither of us recognizes it as something we would have had before we moved here. So... it was left by the previous owner? We were too busy moving in to worry about it at the time, and it's been covered by coats ever since?

I've actually had that happen...I found a serving platter once in a cupboard that neither Manolo nor I remembered having, buying, receiving. And we can't blame it on any former home owners.

I don't think it was left by a guest...but maybe. I'll ask around. But it must have been in there for years. It also occurred to me that it might have belonged to Manolo's mom. She lived with us for 13 years and brought some of her stuff here with her. It just doesn't look familiar, though.
