Annie, an Asian elephant at P.A.W.S., came from the Milwaukee Zoo. Now she resides just a few miles from my home in California. She is very happily retired now. Edit... oh wait.

I'm a little surprised at her treatment here. It says she was standing on chains. I wonder why they would have used chains for anything. I wonder if they have any space that's not visible to the public. And I don't remember hearing anything about that epidsode. I wonder if Cyn does. I remember some trouble with an elephant named Lota.
