As I mentioned, when we visited Donna and Manolo on saturday, we went to the museum...



Then the MSU Horticulture Gardens




The frogs were so big, they hooked up drainage tubes so they didn't fill up the ponds with waste. Actually, this was a giant spitting frog. Just out of the picture to the left, there's a gate on a post. Spinning it around operates the pump, which shoots water from the mouth of the frog. So the idea is to ask someone to read what's on that bronze plaque. When they bend over to take a look, splash


Walking back across campus to


The Beal Botanical Gardens, where they had examples of every known plant that was native to Michigan. They had them grouped - medicinal plants, food plants, injurious plants, toxic plants...
