Cyn and I went to East Lansing to visit Donna and Manolo this weekend. It was a nice weekend. We talked with them quite a bit, about Spain, politics, Spain, Manolo's work, etc. We visited the museum in Lansing, on saturday morning, since it was raining. It had quit by afternoon, so after lunch, we walked over to the MSU Horticulture gardens, and then to the Beal Botanical Garden. Donna and Manolo are so generous. They kept giving us things. Food, gifts - they were even handing us money, by the end of the visit!
I was so tired all weekend, after working so late on thursday night. I never quite got caught up on my sleep. After dinner on saturday night, I could barely keep my eyes open. I wanted to stop at Warren Dunes on the way back home today, but the line waiting to get in the park was a couple of miles long. I was looking forward to seeing the park again, but not that badly. Once we got back into Wisconsin, the weather turned bad. We skirted the edge of some nasty storms, and would have been in the middle of them, had we visited the dunes. The temperature was about 80 degrees when we got home - fifteen degrees cooler than it was an hour and a half south.

You'd better explain that handing you money stuff.
:D
We got all the storms that went through your area earlier.
Any problems driving through Chicago?
Can I repost your picture to my LJ?

No, no trouble with traffic or rain. It was two hours, twenty minutes from the Indiana border.

It sounds like it was good that you didn't visit the dunes.
