In basic training at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas, they don't have to march if the temperature is over 103 degrees.

My sister, Dorothy, worked for the FBI in Washington DC during World War II. There was no air conditioning so they didn't have to stay at the office if the temp inside got more than 100.

I wonder if the Air Base had airmen passing out.
