I feel that Jimi Hendrix hadn't reached his greatest potential, when he died. Jim Morrison would have continued to put out great material. I feel that Kurt Cobain couldn't have matched his explosive debut. Michael Jackson... was on the verge of a sort of comeback. His return to performance. We'll never know if he still had it.

I could see Buddy Holly going in some interesting directions if he'd lived.

He would have had a long career ahead of him.

Jimi Hendrix had been dabbling in fusion before he died, from something I'd read.
He was going to do a acid/hard rock/blues and jazz thing. He'd been in the recording studios trying things out, but hadn't finished anything.

Jim Morrison was going to die early no matter what, but yeah...he'd have come out with some monster poetry I believe.

I can't talk about Kurt Cobain or Michael Jackscon, because I really didn't like their music at all.
I don't know. Maybe in the genre, they were good, but I never got it.

Yeah, Hendrix had already been branching out, with the Band of Gypsies.

And yeah, Jim was going to die no matter what, so that's more of a hypothetical thing.
