I'm trying to get the electronics ready for the trip.

I'm ripping more CDs and organizing the latest batch of songs. Then I have to upload them to my mp3 player. And also adjust my playlist, where necessary.

We're taking the laptop on the road with us, so I'm filling it up with all our pictures. Two reasons. One, so we can see our pics on the laptop and share them with the people we visit. Two, as another backup. This is the third backup of most of them, and the second of some. It's quite handy having the computers connected by network. We were never able to get our two computers to recognize each other, on the old network. We were only able to get them to access the internets through the router.

No, no problems this time. I'm quite happy with how they're working. It was the old router that we couldn't get them hooked up. I installed this new wireless router, and everything was fine. In fact, since we never used to have them networked right, it didn't occur to me right away, that they were hooked up.
