I went to work today. Eleven hours, all overtime. Should be a nice check. I was beat, though. Those damn steel-toe shoes.

I tried every pair of safety shoe I could get my hands on. This was the most comfortable one. I was hoping to get a pair with the composite toe, rather than steel, since they're much lighter, but they were all way less comfortable in the sole.

Some kind of laminated plastic, I guess. Not sure.

Well, they're called "composite," IIRC. And they wouldn't be using them if they didn't work. Probably less likely to be dented than steel.

Are you one of those plastics haters? Nothing but the old-fashioned for you? You like your kites made of cloth, and your cars made of wood? ;-)
