crumbling mausoleum

Remember those pics I posted last week, of the mausoleum that was falling apart? I finally got around to looking it up at Find A Grave. It turns out that Jesse Burt is the guy who founded the cemetery in the first place. You'd think if anyone's grave needed repairing, it would be his.

The site has a picture of the place from spring 2007. It looks pretty much the same as it does now. See it.

That's too bad. Perhaps if you wrote a letter to the municipality, and brought some attention to it, maybe they'd fix it. I wonder where the descendants are.
