I was amused by the first line. I only included the second line because it followed so closely. There's hardly a space between the word when he says them.

I heard it said of Lou Reed, "he can really paint a picture. Not always a pretty picture." I picked up New York because of the song "Dirty Blvd." I didn't think too highly of the rest of the album for a long time, but I've recently started to enjoy a lot of it.

It's a pretty weird album. I've liked a few songs from it off and on, but I don't think I've ever liked the entire album all at once.
