James Lipton's 10 Questions
These are James Lipton's 10 Questions (Inside the Actor's Studio), based on the Proust Questionnaire.
1. What is your favorite word?
2. What is your least favorite word?
There are words I like, and words I don't like, but none leap out at me.
3. What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?
Turns me on? I get turned on?
4. What turns you off?
Probably lots of things. Prejudice and bigotry. Hatred.
5. What is your favorite curse word?
"Mother Pussbucket." I don't use it myself, but it's a good one.
6. What sound or noise do you love?
7. What sound or noise do you hate?
*shrug*
8. What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
A better question for me would be "what profession would you go into if forced into something hew. I still don't have an answer. To this day I feel lucky that I discovered the profession I'm in. I have no idea how I would have come up with something, if I was made to pick.
9. What profession would you not like to do?
Anything I'm not good at (seriously).
10. If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?
"Welcome, have a drink."
