ugh, sick

I've been sick since tuesday or wednesday with weeklong flu I usually get at christmas. Today, I woke up at 7:30 with diarrhea. Man, I've been hurting. The diarrhea has pretty much gone away, but I'm so weak and tired, I can hardly function. I'm so weak that any exertion (like getting out of bed), seems to strain my heart. Strangely, all the lights seem dim. I don't think I've ever experienced that before. I get up for an hour or less, check my friends page (LJ's been rather dead today), then sit in the family room and watch the clock spin for a while. Then I go back to bed for three hours.

I hate to sound like a mother, but you could be VERY dehydrated. You can die fro that ya know...look at poor Jim Henson. PLEASE go to an urgent care.

I would say be careful, too. The strains my heart and lights dimming might be breathing related too. (When I had walking pneumonia, a flight of stairs about did my heart in).

That sounds really nasty. Liquids..drink lots of clear fluids (apple juice, water ...)
I hope those worrisome symptoms disappear today.

Just sleep a lot and lots of fluids when you're awake...I'm so sorry you're so terribly ill...

I'm so sorry you're this ill! boo. That strained feeling on your heart sort of concerns me. Are you breathing normally? I always worry about walking pneumonia sneaking up on people.

Man. I only had about 24 hours of that and yeah, my heart rate was way up there.
It scared me.
