sick

After being out in that extreme cold the other day, I had a slight pain in my ear. Sub-pain, actually. It was just that I could feel something there. I was worried I injured it with frostbite or something. And then it kept doing that. Today, it got worse. I could feel it deep inside my ear, and at the back of my throat. After lunch, it upgraded to pain, so I'm officially sick.

I don't really feel worse today, so I'm going to assume it's not an infection. Just a virus, and they'll send me home. So I'm not going to bother going to the doctor.

It feels like a less severe version of the illness I used to get almost every year at christmas. It used to lay me out for a week. More recently, it still lasts a week, but it's not as severe.
