This was in Perry Lakes park, in Perry County, Alabama. This is the parking lot, of course. There are three buildings, and a canopy that looks like a bus stop.
Does this give you a hint?...
The first one is in the open.
It is, in fact, an outhouse. This is the view from the seat:
The second one is a tower, with an open roof.
It was locked, so I don't have a picture of the inside, but it is also an outhouse.
I don't have a picture of the outside of the third one, but it's at the end of the walk next to the car, in the top picture. The inside of it is shown in the second picture.
So zaecus, mummm and ravengirl get five points each, for guessing outhouse number one correctly. Nobody guessed that outhouse number two was an outhouse.

Date: 2008-11-16 06:28 pm (UTC)From:I do have to say that mda's outhouse (at a cabin he lived in for years) still has one of the best views I've seen - you could leave the door open and look to the side of a hill.
*Believe it or not, I've encountered a really elaborate outhouse - it was built by a woodworker, had a really great view, and wonderful little details.
