Umm...

Fragile
When I Was Cruel
, maybe.

At this point, it becomes an exercise in listing my favorite album by each of my favorite bands.

It goes something like this...

Date: 2008-11-14 05:15 am (UTC)From: [identity profile] serendipity.livejournal.com
Sticky Fingers
The White Album
Highway 61 Revisited
Blue
Tea for the Tillerman
Deja Vu
After the Gold Rush
Cheap Thrills
Surrealistic Pillow
Strange Days
Some of those surprise me a bit. Seems like all we ever talk about are the Beatles and the Stones.
Hey, I'm deeper than that. :P

And besides, we also talk about The Who, but I maintain that they're the ultimate LIVE band...
I can't do just ten... it's too hard - Top 25 instead

1. Queen - Greatest Hits
2. The Beatles - (Cirque version) LOVE
3. Phantom of the Opera
4. Gershwin - Rhapsody In Blue/American in Paris
5. The Hits of The Dave Clark Five
6. Blue Man Group - Audio
7. The Buckinghams - Mercy, Mercy, Mercy: A Collection
8. The Best of Chicago
9. West Side Story - Movie Soundtrack
10. The Who - My Generation
11. Shawshank Redemption Soundtrack
12. Rachel Portman - Chocolat Soundtrack
13. The Best of Three Dog Night
14. Almost all of the music of Thomas Newman
15. The music of Henri Mancini
16. The music of Cole Porter
17. The soundtracks of You've Got Mail and Sleepless in Seattle
18. Mamma Mia Soundtrack
19. Cirque Du Soleil - Alegria (actually ALL of their music is wonderful)
20. The Best of The Mama's and The Papas and The Best of Peter, Paul, and Mary
21. The Albums of Jefferson AIRPLANE
22. Michael Giacchino - Ratatouille Soundtrack
23. All of the Beatles albums!
24. The Enigma albums
25. Just about anything 50s and 60s Rock and Roll

That's more like 50 or 75!

The Who - My Generation: Is that their first album? I almost listed that one.

I saw the Buckinghams, once. They opened for America.
Sorry... I guess I got carried away. I was up and not feeling good at the time.
I was kind of trying to kill time until I felt better.

Yes, that was The Who's debut album. :^)

We saw the Buckinghams live too... here at our fair a few years back. We have loved them for a long, long time. They are a Chicago group that has been around since we were young-ish. :^)
(I asked about that one, because it seems like there's a best-of album called My Generation. But I could be wrong.)
You could be right... but I did look it up... unless they made another one.
