My Photoshop is acting weird. When I do a window around something, it adds another x number of pixels to the rectangle. Why is this? At first, it made the area beyond what I chose fade out, to the edge of the image. Then the fade stopped ,but it still adds the pixels. Can anyone tell me how to reset it? I'm hoping I don't have to reinstall it.

In other news, my boss says his arrow keys are reversed, so when he hits the left arrow, his cursor goes to the right.

I wish I could help you, but I can't. I have Photoshop but it never has acted up... and besides, I am on a Macintosh. I'm pretty positive you are on some kind of PC?

Yeah, a PC. Do the programs appear different on different operating systems?

No, I don't think so, but the system setups are definitely different. However, I have never used Photoshop on a PC.

Has he pried them off and put them back on the right way around yet? ;)

I don't know about photoshop. I've got a very old version. Might be worth seeing if there are any updates available for your version?

:-) I'm sure he's hoping a reboot will fix it.

That's a good point. An update would be easier than a reinstall, and might do the same thing. Even easier, though, would be to find the setting that controls it. It sounds like something that you should be able to do.

He's right that there are lots of updates, and they don't cost extra.
